My name is Dr. Christopher Shewbarran, and I’m a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Nevada. I graduated from the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, San Francisco Bay Area, where I completed a Doctorate of Psychology (Psy.D.) specialized in Clinical Psychology. I’ve had the privilege and opportunity to work with many diverse populations throughout my career thus far, including children, adolescents, and adults in individual, group, and family therapy settings, experiencing various symptoms and stressors. While my therapeutic approach is rooted in evidence based practices, I am open to integrating and utilizing different therapeutic models, practices, approaches, and techniques that may be beneficial to the clients and families I work with and serve in order to best support their needs and treatment.

In addition to my work as a Clinical Psychologist, I have many interests, including being an advocate for mental health and psychology. Previously, I served as President of the Nevada Psychological Association From 2024-2026, and I am a member of different committees. In 2025, I was also awarded the Outstanding Contribution to the Nevada Psychological Association Award.

I also am an avid sports fan of my hometown teams in Tampa, Florida, which include the Tampa Bay Lightning, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Tampa Bay Rays, and since residing in the Las Vegas area, the Vegas Golden Knights, Las Vegas Raiders, and soon, the Las Vegas Athletics.
